The normal academic load for full-time law students enrolled at the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law is 16 semester hours; the maximum load allowed only to students with an average of at least 3.25 for the previous semester is 18.Part-time law students must carry a normal academic load of 11 semester hours or a maximum of 13 semester hours for students with 3.25 semester average in the previous semester. No student may carry more than the maximum number of credits per semester without the approval of the Dean of the Law School.
